What is this?
This is a workshop with a specific deliverable: learn to start communicating value rather than just talking about what it is you do. Most people don’t care about the fact that something exists if they can’t understand why it should exist. Learn about the specific value propositions of what you’re working on.
Who is this for?
Entrepreneurs, business people, salespeople, marketers, and more broadly: anyone looking to improve the way they understand and communicate about what they do and think.
How is this accomplished?
You’ll spend some time getting out of your own brain while we deconstruct examples of things that you already understand the value of. We’re then going to take a look at real-world scenarios from workshop participants. We’ll also deconstruct examples of complex ideas and see for ourselves the importance of communicating value.
Why should I attend this workshop?
If you’re in a position where folks need to understand how important your product/business/service/work is, then you need to start communicating value so that you can win them over and get them to ally with you. That alliance could be a partnership, a sale, a transaction, an investment, advice, feedback, mentorship, and so on.
Who is teaching this workshop?
I am Pat Sebastien and I started my sales career selling a product that was the first of its kind to businesses. It took me time to learn how to talk about that product in a way that people could understand and connect with. Once I stopped talking about features, and starting talking about value, my sales increased. I have also worked in consumer sales. Now, I spend most of my time coaching new and established entrepreneurs on how to talk about their products and get sales.
When is this?
Wednesday, December 12th from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
