Our special guest on September 28th is Derek Tweel, Director of Operations at Murphy’s Pharamacies Inc.:
“I am an operations guy. Most of my days are spent dealing with issues and solving problems in a wide range of areas such as pharmacy, health services, property management, and operations management. On the “people” side of things, it is just as varied by working with physicians, pharmacists, medical support staff, patients, customers, executives, administrators, and vendor representatives.
I enjoy leading teams and coaching people. My favourite things include: designing, creating, developing projects in such areas as pharmacy layout, H.R, marketing, and I.T.
I have been fortunate to work for and learn from many amazing people over the years. Some of these people include Ray Murphy and family, Alvin MacNeill, Mary MacLean, David Campbell, and Wayne and Bill Hambly and most of all, my parents David and Rose.”
