On April 27th, our special guest is Kevin Murphy!
Murphy Hospitality Group started 36 years ago with one restaurant and today encompasses 11 restaurants, 2 hotels and the PEI Brewing Company. Kevin, his wife, Kathy, three sons, Ben, Sam and Isaac, are integral parts of the company and you have probably seen them around the restaurants and hotels.
In 1980, they opened their first restaurant, run by Kevin and Kathy – they were the hosts, the dishwashers, they worked all aspects of the business. In the last 36 years, they’ve been able to grow and have fun in this business. That comes with a lot of hard work, great people and a little bit of luck along the way.
Although some things have changed at MHG over the years, their principles remain the same: friendly, knowledgeable staff, great food, and clean and comfortable locations that help people create memorable experiences. Full bio here.
