Our special guests on March 29th is Sean Aylward, the Humble Barber!
Sean Aylward comes from Summerside, PEI. A graduate of the Political Studies program at UPEI, Sean always intended on going to law school. After writing his LSATs in the summer of 2014, Sean had a change of heart and opted to take the risk of going to barber school instead of law school. In short time, Sean finished school and opened a one-chair shop in Summerside, quickly expanding to Charlottetown, and now operates two locations with seven barbers. Sean is heavily involved locally, having served on different City Council committees, was President of the Greater Summerside Chamber of Commerce, and routinely speaks about his experiences at local high schools, colleges, and other events. Sean’s favourite line when talking about entrepreneurship is, ‘if it can work somewhere, it can work anywhere’.
