Our special guest on December 7th is Wendy MacIntyre, owner of resolveHR!

Wendy has been nationally certified as a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (formerly Certified Human Resources Professional) since 2007 and is a member of PEI Chartered Professionals in Human Resources. She earned her undergraduate degree at St. Mary’s University with a major in Sociology and a Criminology Certificate, then returned to PEI to earn a Certificate in Human Resources Management from UPEI and Holland College. As of March 2017, Wendy is now certified in the EQ-i 2.0® emotional intelligence assessment and coaching.

Wendy has held HR roles at private, public and not-for-profit organizations in industries spanning education, health, IT, construction, automotive and tourism. Having worked in law firms prior to going out on her own, she has had the unique opportunity to learn first-hand about the legal issues employers face and has created networks for collaboration.

She is currently a member of the Greater Charlottetown Chamber of Commerce Membership Committee, Co-Chair of the Chamber Ambassador Committee, a member of the Holland College HR Management Program Advisory Committee, PEI Business Women’s Association, and the Human Resources Association of Nova Scotia. She has recently finished her term as President/Past President of the PEI Humane Society Board of Governors, has been a member of the Human Resources Committee for the GCACC and the Institute of Public Administration of Canada’s PEI Chapter Executive.

Wendy resides in Stratford PEI and provides services through the Atlantic Provinces.
