Calling all entrepreneurs! Come have your Friday morning coffee with us at Startup Zone! Bring your business ideas, questions, and grievances and get some great advice from local, like-minded entrepreneurs! No registration required.
Our special guest on August 9th is Lauren Ledwell.
Lauren is currently Director at RBC Ventures, based in Toronto. Lauren specifically looks at the Canadian B2B space and has been actively involved in building, launching and scaling new businesses. Prior to joining Ventures two years ago, Lauren held roles in Digital Transformation and Strategy at RBC.
Lauren started her career in Consumer Goods, building products and brands, at Maple Leaf Foods.
Lauren has a MBA from Rotman School of Management, and a B.Comm from Mount Allison University.
Outside of work, Lauren is passionate about developing young female leaders and serves as an Advisor and Coach to G(irls)20 and Girls on Boards. She also actively advises a handful of companies in the Canadian tech community. With a new baby at home, Lauren is currently enjoying parental leave and the beautiful PEI summer.
