Join us on October 14th for our monthly digital Coffee Chat with David Searle!
Our monthly Coffee Chats are a chance to chat with local like-minded entrepreneurs and business executives (digitally!) about the trials and tribulations of starting, running or growing a business. This month’s coffee chat will be a Q&A with David and a member of the Startup Zone team. We will touch on how his background in the trades led him to work in multiple creative fields, his various entrepreneurial endeavors, how he focuses on empowerment and diversity in the creative industries and in entrepreneurship, and the biggest lessons he’s learned along the way.
Get to know David:
David has 20 years of entrepreneurship experience in the manufacturing and creative industries combined with a B.A. in Economics & Politics. He has several creative enterprises including a multimedia recording studio, live audio engineering, a not-for-profit music festival that supported over 300 artists aimed at encouraging youth participation in the arts, as well as numerous collaborations and community events. He also has experience in design and manufacturing in both residential and commercial general construction, audio/video recording studios, and instrument fabrication. “As an artist and craftsman, working with my hands is a source of income and way of life. I use this same approach in the world of business by working through every stage of an enterprise from the ground up and maintaining close relationships with my clients to form strong partnerships and collaborations!”
