During what has been a trying time for entrepreneurs, Startup Zone is inviting a local expert for a conversation to offer insights on how our current situation will affect entrepreneurs now and in the future, and what we can do about it. This is an open conversation and an opportunity for you to ask Stefanie for advice, so come with questions prepared!
Stefanie is the Associate & Director of Operations with Island Capital Partners, a seed-stage Venture Fund based in Charlottetown Prince Edward Island. Island Capital Partners was founded in 2017 and had been a critical part of boosting the local early-stage innovation community. They invest and mentor innovative founders who have developed a solution or product and require capital and extended networks in order to achieve substantial growth.
Stefanie has been helping entrepreneurs work towards achieving their objectives for over 10 years. With a background in business banking, financial analysis, and leading high performing sales teams, she has a passion for pushing entrepreneurship forward and helping companies gain easier access to capital. Stefanie gained her experience from joining the financial sector after completing her business degree at the University of Prince Edward Island. For 12 years she worked with Scotiabank and held various roles such as a professional / business advisor, branch manager, and Manager Commercial Banking.
